I was expecting a wifi device but was delighted to discover it was fully mobile. "Unlocked" in the title should have clued me in but I'm awake now. I have been using a 17" MacBook Pro on my travels and found it to be delight in its own heavy way. And now I have a device that is its equal in most way but surpasses it in its lightness and screen resolution. My back thanks you. I wanted the 12.9" model because I thought I would need the split screen capability. I have used this feature rarely; it may turn out to be useful, but not yet. In the meantime the screen is an ideal size for spreadsheets and diagram production. The 4G EE SIM gives me always on access to the Internet which was helpful on the train as I prepared a presentation. I haven't enjoyed a new device this much since my first experience of the iPhone and, before that, the MacBook Pro. I may be reverting to childhood.Read full review

By far the best purchase I've made in several years, it's the closest thing to a lap top yet, graphics are amazing, sound is fabulous, the weight of it is just miraculous, and that's before I mention the speed added to the new apps even the pen, "if carlsberg made computers it'd be this" Obviously the whole apple account means linking it a lap top, but it's so advanced then I think sync with lap top once when you get it then that's all. It is genuinely like having a games consul, cinema, tv, computer, communication device, social media etc etc etc I'm not one for writing reviews but this is the best thing I've acquired and felt compelled to write something, it's just so good I had a discussion with a good friend about it, he's a tech head, his first impression was clumsy looking because it's bigger than the previous iPads, he swears by a mini air but was blown away by the pro to such degree that he is awaiting delivery of his, speaks volumes.
