A bit slow, but more than sufficient for email, surfing the net, reading the papers etc. Battery lasts the day, charge overnight and ready for the next day. Usual Apple build quality, decent stereo speakers. Buy the 32gb at least, the 16gb is too small, with almist half taken up with the operating system
