The iPad mini 2 has been around for quite some time now but hasn’t dated in what it can do. No fingerprint unlocking but who cares. Camera is pretty good and the capacity of 128g is much more than you will probably ever need. It is not surprising they still sell easily for good money. Great product , no complaints.

I bought this item for 2 reasons really. I've been umming & aah-ing about buying a tablet device, and in particular and iPad ever since they were released. The other reason was so that my wife could instantly look up her on-line interests without bugging me to access my MacBook. My original intention was to buy a high spec iPad Air but decided to go for the Mini due to its physical size and being easy to handle. My wife agreed that the full size screen item would be too big and that it was only slightly smaller than my MacBook screen. The retina screen is oh so bright and clear. Typing & swiping is excellent whether using fingers or a stylus. I searched for the 128GB Retina Wi-Fi model as I wanted it to be as future proof as possible. My experience of 16GB/32GB iPhones is that it's too easy to use up the memory with photos & videos. I had considered getting the Cellular version also but research showed me that the body would be bulkier and the extra cost for a Data Plan wasn't necessary. If playing games (I like Aviation Combat games) the accelerometer functions are excellent, no drag or twitchiness etc. Do I dislike anything? The screen does get grubby quite easily. I haven't used a screen protector as I don't particularly like them. However, I do keep it in a protective wallet. Do I recommend it? Oh yes!!! I have no intention of replacing it unless due to damage etc. Don't mess around, just buy it.................!!! If I was looking for a similar product (not Apple) I would have gone for the Sony Xperia tablet.Read full review
The only downside is that the battery takes a good deal longer to achieve full charge if compared to a newer model, otherwise it does everything I needed it to. Great price considering it's 128gb! Accurate description as "Grade A" coondition. It came in an original box with new (unopened) USB cable + wall plug adaptor.

I bought this for myself. I have an I pad but frequently it is being used by other members of the family....I can't get my hands on it. I had, in the past, vowed and declared that I would never by an Apple product...I felt they were over hyped. I was browsing in a department store and saw one of these in the flesh so to speak. It seduced me. The bright colours, the excellent resolution. It was neat. I know there are other tablets on the market, but this one is(in my humble opinion) the best. So I bought one. I don't like it...I love it. I am not one of those people who need to be connected at all times(I'm the wrong generation for that) but it is just dandy if you do want to be connected. I carry notes and reminders on it...I write a diary on it, I play games on it.....I use it for those idle moments waiting for appointments......I can read my books on it. So what is not so good about it? Well connectivity I suppose would be the great thing. I know there are cables to connect a camera, but they are expensive and will only allow you to connect that one thing..a camera. It would be good to be able to have an expansion slot too...one that would let you carry other files on an micro SD card. So, hey you guys at Apple...when you are next looking at making this piece of kit a bit more desirable......give the punters the choice of having the ability to connect this powerful device to others. It would be a great selling point......and an expansion slot would be nice too. Would I buy another...yes, in a heartbeat(but I would have to save up a bit first). Would I recommend it?
